There are a lot of Beemer cafe racers out there, and I’ve featured many here. So what makes this one, from 4h10 in France, special enough to warrant mention? It’s not all that different from most, but there are some touches that really stand out. The headlight, an original ‘70’s Ossa headlight with a yellow coating on the glass, really catches my eye. The tank is a stunner, and the subtle stripe running down the middle is a perfect touch. The red spark plug wires are a great way to add interest to something that has to be there, with no real way to hide them, and the squat seat really accentuates the lines of the tank and lends a purposeful forward motion to the bike. Well done!
