CBA #2 Honda XL600

There are quite a few well-known custom shops nowadays, putting out some amazing work.  They have slick videos to promote their builds, professional looking websites, and are regularly featured on such sites as BikeExif and Pipeburn.  They get a lot of attention, and that’s all good, but for me it’s the little guy that really interests me.  The couple of guys working out of their garage on weekends, guys with more heart than tools, making things work without the resources of a full shop behind them.
Colin Fitzgerald and Paul Dickens are two such guys, and they started a project called cba (can be arsed).  Hailing from Nortallerton in the north of England, Colin runs the Garage Artwerks airbrush and custom studio, and is now branching out into custom bike builds.  This is the second bike from Colin and Paul, a 1985 Honda XL600L with a custom rear subframe and a Yamaha XS500 fuel tank.  It’s all topped off with a BSA inspired paint job, and a bike that any garage builder could be proud of!
