Fuel Scram 4Two BMW
There is no way I wouldn’t feature this bike. My love for BMW’s is well documented here, and this one from Fuel Bespoke Motorcycles is a perfect example why. My favorite touches are the way the white stripe follows the edge of the tank, and that the white fenders lighten up the design. Another fine BMW, I really need to get one!

Sameiros Lose The Wheels
Manolo from Samieros Motors in Portugal sent me some info on their new build, a 1988 Honda NX Dominator. It seems to be an Iberian invasion here on the Garage! This build is in the tracker style, and it makes me want to go on a little off-road excursion! My favorite part is the tank, lifted from a 1952 Terrot, such a great old-school touch! Manolo and João are the two brothers behind Sameiros Motors, and hand-crafted a lot of the bike themselves. Just look at the curvaceous exhaust pipes, that’s some true artistry there. I think the pipe wrap actually detracts from it, maybe a lighter shade would have helped make it stand out more! The bike is called “Lose the Wheels”, a little strange title, but the work itself is excellent!

Aprilia Vs. Nissan
Nissan GT-R vs Aprilia RSV4 from TangentVector, inc.™ on Vimeo.
The Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC SE uses the most sophisticated set of performance-enhancing electronics ever fitted to a road legal motorcycle. The Nissan GT-R similarly relies on revolutionary electronic driver aids to set lap records the world over. But, which vehicle is faster, bike or car? Both vehicles in this race are completely stock down to the tires and piloted by professional racers. Lap times are real. For more, visit http://www.ApriliaUSA.com.

Nice And Simple
It’s tough when you find a nice build, such as this one, and you know almost next to nothing about it. I’m not even sure of the make, maybe Honda, but it sure is done well. The modern front fork is a nice touch, and I really like that the spark plug wires complement the use of gold pinstriping. Reminds me of Honda’s GB500 back in the early Nineties.

Space Shuttle Tribute
Aprilia USA pays tribute to the Space Shuttle from TangentVector, inc.™ on Vimeo.
The most ambitious engineering project the world has ever seen, the space shuttle has inspired many to go places they otherwise wouldn't have gone. That includes Aprilia USA, which pays tribute to the brave men and women who made the shuttle possible as its last ever launch approaches. Crossing performance boundaries never thought possible and forging new frontiers in innovation, making and racing motorcycles wouldn't be entirely alien to the people that created a bridge between earth and space. For more, visit http://www.ApriliaUSA.com.

Macco Motors Big Z
Jose from Macco Motors sent us the lowdown on their first creation, a 1982 Kawasaki Z1100 ST the call “Big Z”. Tito and Jose make up Macco Motors, a little shop in Chiclana de la Frontera (I could say that all day, it just sounds so cool!), Cadiz, in southern Spain.
It’s hard to believe this is their first effort, as the level of refinement is much higher than usual. The subtle shading around the Kawasaki emblem, the way the silver frame and chrome engine parts contrast nicely with the black, a touch which is repeated in the fuel tank, and finally the use of brown as another contrast, making the seat tie in with the rest of the bike.
Jose says they have more coming, a Montesa Enduro 75, a Triumph Bonneville, and a Yamaha TTR. If the level of quality is as high as Big Z here, there’s another builder out there on the level of Wrenchmonkees and Spirit of the 70’s!
