Yamaha’s XS650 has been a popular platform for custom builds, being adaptable to many styles. The engine has the classic good looks of an English twin mated with Japanese reliability, a killer combo. This bobber from Rodster on the Jockey Journal forums shows how good the XS650 can be, all without spending a huge amount of cash. While the lack of mufflers would rule this bike out for me, the purity of the design is quite alluring!
