The cafe racer formula is pretty well set. There’s not a lot of variation in the basic configuration, but it’s in the specifics that individual builds shine. This Honda CB550 from Motto Moto exemplifies the difference details make. The triple stripe down the tank, the gorgeous exhaust headers, and the black side covers that contrast nicely with the tank all push the design out of the humdrum “normal” cafe racer into something more. The extra work may not always be recognized, but it’s always worth it.
