Getting Past The Paint

There are some paint jobs that I just can’t get past, fortunately, this is not one of them.  Cafe Matty took a ragged-out BMW Boxer, and came up with this.

The paint on the tank and the seat remind me of a bass boat, and as the color shifts from different viewpoints, the orange frame sometimes looks awkward.  Beyond that, the rest of the bike is drop-dead gorgeous.  The tank-seat-tail proportions work well, and the tank and tail harmonize well, something many builders don’t get right.  Those Boxers really do cafe mighty well!
