Oftentimes, logic takes a back seat to passion when one customizes their motorcycle. A perfect example is David McMillan’s Moto Guzzi V7 Sport. Featuring a laundry list of modifications that sounds like a guide to Italian restaurants (Carrillo rods, Gilardoni barrels, Tommaselli 2c throttle, Dell’Orto pumpers, Marzocchi M1R fork), this bike puts out about the same power as a modern 600cc motorcycle. Why spend all that money when an off-the-shelf bike is just as fast, if not faster? If you have to ask that, you’re missing the whole point!
