7 Seven Dark Brownie

There’s an undeniable urge on a builder’s part to do something spectacular, something never before seen.  A build that grabs everyone’s attention and won’t let go.  You see it all the time, good, solid work overshadowed by something “unique”, which ends up being just a flash in the pan.  It’s the day-in, day-out builders, the one’s who put out solid work time and time again, that I really enjoy showcasing.
7Seven Customs in Slovenia, is one such shop that puts quality first, and they don’t get the attention I think they deserve.  Their latest build, Dark Brownie, a 1983 Honda CB750, is a fine demonstration of their character.  The photos were taken in an abandoned blacksmith shop by Ciril Komotar, and it’s a fitting setting.  Like the blacksmith’s craft, this build is about doing what’s right and what works.  There is nothing superfluous, nothing extraneous, just good, solid design and execution.  The flat black on the cam covers and engine cases matching the wheels, handlebar, pipes, and mirror.  The white grips to match the white rear shocks.  Everything in proportion and harmony.  It’s a job well done!
