Lucky 13

After purchasing a non-running 1972 Honda CB450 for $400.00, Joe Archambault turned out a sweet little cafe racer he calls Lucky 13.  It’s safe to say there is nothing on this bike that didn’t receive attention, and you can check out the build thread on Do The Ton here.

‘72 Honda CB750

This bike is a bit of a quandary for me.  There are elements that are spot on perfect, and others that just miss the mark.  The handlebars being white don’t work, the tail section is too high to match the tank, and the gauges are just too large for the rest of the bike.  That being said, there’s a lot to like.  The extended gas tank, the gorgeous exhaust pipes and mufflers, and the wonderful paint job.  The negatives are far outweighed by the positives, and it’s a bike anyone could be proud of.
