Most Ducati’s are, in a word, sexy. This one, though, did not start out that way. This style always looked awkward to me, with lines that looked like they didn’t know which direction they were going, and an organic feel that less like skin stretched over muscles and more like skin folded over fatty tissue. It is just horrible. Caferacer-Manufacture set out to fix that, and turned an ugly duckling into a sexy swan.
Called Cavallo Nero (Black Horse, I think), this Duck looks it’s best without the horrendous plastic, and with the mechanical bits highlighted by Ducati’s famous trellis frame design. Hard to believe they are the same bike, and the transformation is stupendous!
