Trillion CB650

  Derek Pauletto bought an unloved 1979 Honda CB650 from a co-worker’s brother for $300.00.  For two years she reliably got him from point A to B and back again with nary a complaint or problem.  When Derek decided to sell her, no one was interested.  What’s a top-notch welder to do when he has a bike no one thinks is worth anything?  Create a kick ass cafe racer, that’s what!
  Derek started by widening the comstar wheels, a project many said couldn’t be done.  Once that impossibility was finished, it was another two years before any more progress was done while Derek built his business.  Once he got back into the project, there was no stopping it this time.  From frame modifications, a custom swingarm, to homemade turn signals, the bike took shape into what you see now.
  As Derek said, “The build was mainly because people made fun of my baby.”  I don’t think anyone is laughing now!
